How Ad ROI works

Every dollar you spend on ads should come back as more than a dollar in revenue. This calculator shows you exactly how much you made (or lost) on a campaign, and whether your ads are profitable.

ROI measures your net profit as a percentage of what you spent. ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) is simpler — it tells you how many dollars came back for every dollar spent. A 3x ROAS means you got $3 back for every $1 in ads.

$
Total you spent on the campaign. Typical: $300 – $1,500/mo
Count form fills, calls, purchases — whatever your goal was.
$
What's a new customer worth to you? Home services: $500 – $5,000+

How Website Value works

Your website has a job — turning visitors into leads and leads into paying customers. This calculator shows the monthly and annual revenue your site is capable of driving based on your traffic, how often visitors reach out, and how often you close a deal.

Most local businesses don't know these numbers off the top of their head. That's okay — we've pre-filled typical values below. Adjust them to match your business.

Check Google Analytics or estimate. Typical: 200 – 800/mo

How SEO Value works

When your business ranks at the top of Google, people searching for what you do click your site for free. That same traffic — if you tried to buy it through Google Ads — would cost you real money every month. This calculator shows you what your organic ranking is worth in both ad-equivalent dollars and actual revenue potential.

If you don't know your search volume, think about how many people in your area are searching for your service each month. A local contractor keyword in a small market might get 100–300 searches. A restaurant or retailer could see more.

How many people search for your service per month. Typical local: 100 – 500
%
Position 1 gets ~28%, position 2–3 gets ~15%. Use 28% if ranking at top
$
What you'd pay per click if buying ads. Typical: $3 – $15 for local
$
What the average paying customer spends.
%
Share of organic clicks that end up buying — this combines lead conversion and closing. Typical organic: 5% – 15%

How Retainer Savings works

A website management plan isn't just a bill — it's buying back your time and protecting your business from things going wrong. This calculator helps you see what you'd actually be spending if you handled it yourself, versus what you pay Hackflo to handle it for you.

Your time as a business owner is valuable. Every hour you spend updating plugins, troubleshooting a broken page, or chasing a slow host is an hour you're not spending on customers, jobs, or growth. This tool puts a dollar figure on that.

$
What you pay Hackflo per month. Typical: $100 – $250/mo
hrs
Updates, fixes, backups, edits, troubleshooting. Typical: 3 – 6 hrs/mo
$/hr
Think: what do you bill, or what could you earn in that time? Typical: $50 – $150/hr
$
Lost sales from downtime, hacks, or outdated security. Even $25/mo is conservative
